Gurpreet Singh MD
My name is Gurpreet Singh. I am a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with over 25 years of experience. I have completed my Internal Medicine Residency at Queens Hospital Center in New York.
For the past 12 years, my focus has been on caring for acutely ill patients admitted to the hospital.
However, I have noticed a lack of emphasis on disease prevention in this setting. As an inpatient physician with a long list of patients, I often do not have enough time to discuss prevention strategies. I strongly believe that disease prevention is key to overcome illness, rather than simply treating symptoms with medication.
My goal is to provide the best possible direct primary care to my patients, with a focus on disease prevention through lifestyle modifications and appropriate use of medications.
